Web Graphic Designer

This is a professional creative position. Candidate must possess outstanding visual design skills; and should be prepared to present an up to date Web/Visual design portfolio. Full Web site project life-cycle experience, preferred.

General Requirements

Minimum one year professional experience required.
Candidate must be familiar with the standard concepts, practices and procedures of graphic and Web design (e.g. color theory, typography, spacing and layout).
Candidate must be capable of constructing structural sound Web sites by incorporating appealing graphic design, XHTML and CSS.
Candidate must have an understanding of existing and emerging Internet and Web technologies.
Strong time management skills a must along with the ability to keep up with changing task prioritization
Strong oral & written communication skills / ability to communicate with clients, partners and staff.

Tools/Skills

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Corel and Freehand
Experienced in Flash and other Animation Tools
Must be able to develop layout in XHTML and CSS
Familiar with various Audio/Video formats and related tools

Added Advantage

Flash / AS 2.0 development Experience

Primary Responsibilities

Position will include graphic design for web sites, multimedia, and possibly some print media. You will be responsible for development of visual concepts and designs that reflect our client's business and target audience. Typical tasks will include:

Design & Development of standards compliant website layouts & templates
Designing graphics/multimedia components for new & existing websites
Content Integration
Image manipulation / clean up
